Titles that just missed & yet another BOGO reminder!

The new homepage features went live today as usual & as I like to, I’m going to let you know about a few that didn’t make the cut.

Girlfriend’s Films released two films this week, one made the homepage, one didn’t. The one that didn’t is Episode #13 in their Thornhill Diaries series & features Flower Tucci. Girlfriends continues to be a popular studio on AVU so I feel bad when I don’t feature one of their titles.

Switching gears for a sec with Screw My Wife Please #63 which happens to be the all creampie edition. This quote-unquote Pro/Am series always does well around here – I expect this release to be no different.

Lastly is a release from Teravision…XXX-Box. It’s their first venture into POV & it’s being billed as a “sexual gaming experience in a virtual world”. Sound intriguing? Of course it does. It doesn’t hurt that it includes Jenna Haze, Kayla Paige & Maya Gates.

New Promos for Movies & Toys

We’ve got some new features up that you might be interested in.

New homepage & new starlet suggestions

New homepage features are going up tomorrow but as a little preview…

Brazzers has made themselves known here at AVU rather quickly. Their first three titles on dvd are selling briskly which is pretty much what I was expecting. There’s been a ton of buzz about this studio and so far, it’s living up to the hype. Mommy’s Got Boobs will be one of the titles leading off this week and I expect it to do very well.

Another studio that’s been doing quite a bit of business around here is Girlfriends Films. You guys apparently prefer your girl-girl to have some realism. Anyway, their latest, Lesbian Triangles #8 got off to a great start & I’m betting it will just continue to pick up momentum.

And now is the part of the program where I ask you guys for some input! We’re seeing that the monthly New Starlets promos are doing pretty well but I’d love to find out from you guys which girls you’d like to see get a little recognition. Comments are open!

Just keep in mind that the girls should be relatively new to the biz & that her titles need to be available for us to sell (girls who are strictly internet stars are great – but I need a product to push!). I also like to have the starlet on at least one of the covers that we ultimately feature…but we’ll see what we can do.

Oh & speaking of starlets, don’t forget that the Wishlist/Top 5 Starlets promo is running from now until the end of the month! You guys picked the girls & we were more than happy to put a few of their movies on sale. Featured are Eva Angelina, Jenaveve Jolie, Carmella Bing, Bree Olson & Gianna Michaels. Enjoy!

New homepage & Wishlist promo revisited

As usual, new homepage titles are up today & as usual I have a few that just didn’t make the cut. Great titles – just not enough room this week.

First up is the latest from Zero Tolerance - Doll House #3. With Amy Ried & Courtney Cummz on the cover, plus Sasha Grey & Cassidey… You know it’s a strong week for new releases if this one didn’t make it to the front page.

The second one is an all-black affair from West Coast, Apple Booty Cuties. Focusing on plentiful posteriors & directed by TB, it features a stellar cast including Millian Blu, Envy, Hershey & more.

Also released this week, is My Friend’s Hot Mom #12 – the latest from Naughty America. The street date just missed my cutoff but it’s already hit the top of the New Releases chart. The covergirl is very interesting - Penny Porsche, who was also the covergirl on the 3rd volume in this series.

You remember – the one that looks like Heather Locklear. I have no doubt she is what made that title the monster seller that it is....& she’s back. I get the feeling that they really know what they’re doing over at Naughty America. That will be on the homepage next week for sure. But you guys can check it out as soon as now if you like.

Wishlist & Valentine's Promos

As I’m sure you can see, that promo I mentioned a couple of weeks ago is up now. The one that utilizes the Wishlist feature to rank your favorite pornstars.

Until Feb 29, we’re keeping track of the girls as they get added. You can see how your favorites are doing in the Top 10 chart on the homepage. For the Top 25, you can click the banner or the little “More” link in the Top 10 list.

When it’s all over, 2 movies from each of the top 5 starlets will go on sale. Pretty cool, right?

Oh & did you guys know that our closeouts switch up monthly? This month we are trying something different so you will see more higher-end/feature type titles included in both the straight & gay closeout sections of the site. Check it out.

In other news, February’s New starlets are up. And we’ve got some new promos with Valentine’s Day in mind. If you’re thinking you might want to introduce that special someone to the joys of watching porn together, we’ve got some couples movies selected as well as classics that are newly released to DVD.

AVN Nominees & more!

So the AVN awards are this coming weekend in Las Vegas, along with the Adult Entertainment Expo. We usually head out west to wine & dine with our fellow purveyors of porn but things are ridiculously busy here right now. So quite reluctantly, our trip was scrapped in favor of getting some real work done. (ha!)

We will be keeping an eye on the awards however. Currently, there is a promo highlighting some of the top nominees but as soon as we have the information, we’ll change it up to reflect the winners.


Regarding the other promos we have running right now…

January’s new starlets are quite a lovely bunch – don’t you think? Of them, Tera Wray is an adorable contract star for Pleasure Productions & has been benefitting from a ton of publicity by the studio. While Kahfee, with only a handful of movies to her credit, has already become a favorite in the big booty genre.

Oh & lastly, if you haven’t taken advantage of the Wicked Buy One Get One Free – you should get moving. It’s only going to run for a few more weeks & then it’s gone! It’s a great offer – a fantastic Wicked feature with one of their outstanding comps thrown in for free.
